June 8th - North Sidney, Nova Scotia

After a six hour drive we arrived at the Cabot Trail KOA outside N. Sidney, Nova Scotia. We have this great view from our campsite.

They put us on the first row facing the lake, which is nice but it took some doing to get the fifth wheel into our spot. The spots clearly were not made for 36 foot long rigs. The bigger motorhomes are on the row above us. Here is a picture of them. You can barely see the roof of Marge on the left. There is one other RV here from Missouri. No one was around so we couldn't ask where they are from.

Here is a picture of Kelly chilling out with a drink and her music. Kellen is texting friends, a very important activity when we have Wifi. In the evening he plays video games with his friends on line. This will change dramatically in Newfoundland.

It is sunny and about sixty degrees for a high today with a little wind. The black flies are around once again but it seems the spray we bought works better on the little buggers here than in Moncton.
Tomorrow we are going to drive about forty miles for a tour of the Fortress of Louisburg National Historic Site. Kelly and I were there in 2008 and it poured rain on us the entire day. The weather tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and we think Kellen will enjoy seeing this 18th century fort.  Pictures to follow.
